In the fall of 1985, Christian Chapel Academy opened its doors to families of Mid-Missouri for the purpose of offering a unique approach to the basic education of children. At Christian Chapel Academy we believe the Bible places responsibility upon the parents for the training of children in life and in faith. As a school, we want to be an extension of the godly values and positive character qualities of parents.
Our educational program offers classes in kindergarten through grade eight. Our preschool program offers half-day sessions of instruction and loving care for three through five year old children.
Our teachers are qualified with degrees in Education and the school is a member of the Association of Christian Teachers and Schools (ACTS) of the Assemblies of God.
Our goal is to offer a quality education to each child. Daily emphasis is placed on foundational skills, such as, learning to read through phonics, math, English grammar and spelling, history and geography, science, as well as learning the truths of the Bible.
Weekly classes offer art, music, library, computer/keyboarding, and physical education.
The building is alive with the learning activities of eager children. Christian curriculum from A Beka and Bob Jones are used for classroom instruction. Electives include: band, choir, boys basketball, and girls volleyball.
After school care is available for preschool and elementary students on the days they attend school.
Our campus is located two miles south of the University of Missouri – Columbia on Providence Road on the spacious campus of Christian Chapel Church.
