Christian Chapel Academy maintains accreditation through four accrediting bodies, the Association of Christian Teachers and Schools, AdvancED, the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, and the National Council for Private School Accreditation.
The Association of Christian Teachers and Schools (ACTS) is a non-profit organization that strives to set new standards of Christ-centered academic excellence while assisting Christian schools to realize the highest level of educational credibility. ACTS is passionately committed to a Biblical Worldview that is consistent with God’s Word, building partnerships with Christian schools, and serving current and prospective members with resources, consulting, advice, and mentoring.
AdvancED is the world’s largest regional accrediting body, serving more than 30,000 public and private schools and districts across the United States and in more than 70 countries. AdvancED brings together more than 100 years of experience and the expertise of three US-Based accreditation agencies- the North Central Association Commision of Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA CASI), Northwest Accreditation Commission (NWAC), and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI).
The North Central Association of colleges and Schools is made up of two separate independent corporations; the commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA CASI), which accredits elementary, middle, and secondary schools, and adult-vocational, college prep and other post-secondary non-degree granting institutions, and the Higher Learning Commission (HLC), which is responsible for accrediting degree-granting colleges, universities and vocational schools.
The National Council for Private School Accreditation (NCPSA) has established accreditation procedures to facilitate the appropriate application, review, and recognition of qualified and credible accrediting associations serving private schools.
